Board Members

The Main Street Valley Center board members serve for three-year terms and represent various stakeholders in downtown and the community at large. Board members are appointed by organizations such as the Valley Center City Council, Valley Center Chamber of Commerce, Valley Center Historical Society, along with members appointed due to their ownership of downtown businesses/buildings and individuals who are active in the community and want to see downtown Valley Center thrive. The City of Valley Center and the Valley Center Chamber of Commerce both have ex-officio board members. The board elects officers for the following one-year term positions: president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. In adherence to the Four Point Approach, there are four standing committees that are overseen by the board: design, promotion, economic vitality, and organization.
